An ISAN for your production, in a few minutes
For single works, series, seasons and episodes. Sign up, fill in and pay in one go.
- Enter the details of your work: titles, year, duration, makers and optionally the crew.
- ISAN checks for duplicates and assigns the number.
- You receive the number by mail, with the Certificate of ISAN Registration and the barcodes attached.
Which titles already have an ISAN?
Upload a list of your productions and the matching tool looks up the matching ISAN record for every title.
- Upload the ISANIZE matching template or an ANGOA broadcast file as is. Other formats on request.
- Every match is checked by our team. With a FULL membership you choose: our team, or yourself.
- You get your own file back with the ISAN numbers found, plus the titles that have no ISAN yet.

Your catalog holds your own registrations and the works you link to it. From there you download certificates and barcodes, complete details and search the whole ISAN registry.

Certificate of ISAN Registration
For each of your own registrations you download the official Certificate of ISAN Registration, with all the details of the record and your name as applicant.
Barcodes in one download
Put your ISAN on a poster, in the end credits or on a document. All barcode versions in one zip: image, small variant and EPS for print.
Crew on your registration
Camera, editing, production design, make-up & hair, costume, sound design, visual effects and animation. Optional, but the more complete the record, the easier your work and its makers are found.

When do I request an ISAN?
You can request an ISAN at any stage of your production. Ideally you register your work during development or production: the number then travels along from the start, in metadata, credits and distribution.
